Interactive museum installation
Inspired by the 1946 illustrated children’s book "Heads, Bodies & Legs" by Richard Chopping and Denis Wirth-Miller, BodyArtLab randomly combines body parts to create a new collage each time the sketch is loaded. The resulting generative collage body reacts to human movement and gestures transforming our body into a playful interface.
This project leverages the natural expressiveness and complexity of body language to create an interactive art installation, allowing users to engage with digital content in innovative ways. By reimagining traditional human-computer interaction, BodyArtLab uses the body as a dynamic tool for creative expression and interaction.
The central theme is to explore how the human body can serve as an intuitive interface, fostering a unique and immersive digital experience. Through the transformative power of creative coding and body tracking, BodyArtLab invites users into a new realm of interactive art, where the body itself becomes a canvas for digital creativity.
